Keying Agent, Production and Claims Care Manager

Joined in 2022

Jordan Ochs joined Midwest Ag Professionals full-time in August 2022 after previously working part-time with the company throughout high school. Raised on a farm, Jordan has been involved in agriculture her entire life and understands firsthand the dedication and hard work that goes into running a successful operation. She was actively involved in 4-H and FFA growing up and earned a dual Bachelor of Arts degree from Kansas State University in the Grain Science field.

Jordan enjoys building lasting relationships with farmers and ranchers and supporting the people who help feed and fuel communities across the country. Having grown up in agriculture herself, she values the opportunity to walk alongside producers through both successful seasons and challenging years while helping simplify the insurance process for their operations.

What Jordan believes makes Midwest Ag Professionals stand out is the strong team environment and intentional approach to client relationships. She values the close-knit culture within the company and the commitment the team has to providing personalized coverage and ongoing support. Through one-on-one meetings and semiannual producer update meetings, MAP Inc. strives to ensure farmers and ranchers stay informed and confident in their coverage decisions.

Agriculture and family are deeply connected in Jordan’s life. Her parents founded Midwest Ag Professionals in 2000, and today she works alongside her sister and brother-in-law as part of the family business. She also has a dog named Mia, who enjoys greeting farmers and ranchers as they visit the office.

Outside of work, Jordan stays actively involved in her church community, serving on the Kids Ministry and Worship teams, leading a women’s Bible study, and helping lead a local children’s ministry program. She is also an avid baker who enjoys making and selling baked goods, especially experimenting with sourdough using flour she mills herself. In her free time, you can often find her at the dirt track supporting sprint car racing, spending time at the lake, or enjoying walks outdoors with Mia.

During busy crop insurance season, Jordan keeps fueled with coffee shop favorites like cold brew, matcha, or a honey-lavender latte, along with snacks like fruit, pretzels, or popcorn.
