Cody Lampe has worked in crop insurance for more than 12 years and is passionate about helping farmers and ranchers protect the operations they’ve worked hard to build. Before entering the crop insurance industry, Cody worked for more than five years as an auto and diesel technician, frequently servicing farm equipment and building relationships with local producers throughout his community. He also owned a small cow-calf herd for 10 years and continues to stay connected to agriculture by helping on his in-laws’ farm.

What Cody enjoys most about his work is the people. He values the opportunity to work alongside hardworking farmers and ranchers who are passionate about feeding the world and supporting rural communities.

Outside of work, Cody enjoys spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and their two sons, Carson and Cooper. Whether it’s coaching sports, attending sprint car races, or spending time outdoors, he enjoys staying active and making memories with his family. During busy crop insurance season, Cody keeps it simple with a large black coffee — and plenty of it.
